Creation of Accessible Formats

Availability of documents and their format If your organization is:

  • designated public sector organizations
  • other organizations with 20 or more employees

There are additional requirements to meet. These organizations must:

  • document in writing their accessible customer service policies, practices, and procedures;
  • notify customers that these documents are available upon request; and
  • provide information in the requred document(s), when providing them to a person with a disability, in a format that takes into account the person’s disability. It is required by the Standard to give a document to a person with a disability you must provide the document, or the information contained in the document, in a format the takes into account their disability.

Provide us with a CD of your forms and documents that are most often used in providing a good or service to your customer.
